Last Saturday I made chocolates for honey Idiot. It's his birthday present. (:
It was supposed to be like this. But it turned out differently.
It's my 1st time and I'm still a novice anyway. I took the recipe from chris' friend's blog. She can bake really nice cupcakes. :D
Gonna try them out if i have time.
So, that afternoon, I went to buy the ingredients in Yon Hin. And man, the place is packed with people! All those malays buying ingredients to bake raya cookies. The queue at the counter was really long. My mom wanted to buy her organic buckwheat only, so she took it and queue up already,without waiting for me. I needed to buy baking chocolate, tracing paper, whipping cream. I saw this really cute deco for cookies and I just had to buy it. They're tiny hearts and stars~ :3
You know how I do things, i take my time, and really think what to buy. In short, I do things very slow. yea..
And my mom was calling me to hurry up cause she was almost next at the counter. I grabbed 2 packet of baking chocolate and deco only. Then, we head back to the car. When i reached the car, i just realized, I forgot to buy tracing paper. My mom got angry. She doesn't want to go back there since it's raining and lots of people there.
I need that tracing paper! Luckily my dad let me go down by myself to buy the stuff i need. I bought the whipping cream and tracing paper. Satisfied, I went back home.
After that, I started making the chocolates. Good thing I bought the Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate from my last trip in kl, the baking chocolates sold in yon hin are not good quality chocolates. But still, I need them cause I only have 1 packet of hershey's.
Here's the final product. lol.
