Another post about a wedding. It's the same couple but at different location. The previous one was the bride's hometown. This time it's the groom's hometown — Ipoh.
Wedding held at Christmas eve, 24th December 2010.
My dad's car was made into the bridal car.
On the night before the wedding, had a buffet style dinner at my aunt's house. I forgot to take the camera out when the dinner starts so... no pictures. hehe my bad. I still have other pictures lahh. xD
Victoria's mom was so pantang that there were so many rules that we had to follow. For instance, whoever is born in the year of the pig cannot stand at the door when the wedding couple comes in the groom's house and whoever is born in the year of the ox cannot go in the bridal chamber before the wedding couple go in. And one more really ridiculous prohibition is that the bride's brother cannot go to the house at the same time with the wedding couple, he must arrive 2 hours later than them. Lol >.>
Marrying in the chinese traditional way. The driver kept horning the car when they arrived, trying to make it as noisy as possible. Also, calling a young boy to jump on the bed so that the bride will conceive a baby boy.

Tea ceremony
While having the tea ceremony, I asked my cousin, Han Yung, how did Han Hua obtain the bride from the hotel. It wasn't easy, the bride's sister and friends tortured the groom's party. haha. I dun remember eggs-zactly which 1 happened 1st coz it was quite some time dy and i'm only blogging abt it now. And I have bad memory too. T_T
They had to answer some questions (difficult ones), and those who failed to answer will be punished to put on lipstick. LOL. Then, they had to somehow create a heart shape on a piece of paper put on the floor with their lipstick-stained mouths only while doing push ups. wow... Next, all the men were to put a necklace of little bitter gourds around their necks and eat them. ewww.... bitternessssss...
Lastly, the girls put some chocolate on someone's back and someone has to lick the chocolate off.... OMG!! HAHA!
Oh yea, 1 REALLY funny thing happened b4 the wedding day. Han Hua suddenly asked me :" Eh, Sze Lan, you're going to throw flowers tomorrow?" I was like WHATTTTTTT??!!?!?! ok my reaction was big because I thought he didn't want a flower girl anymore since he did not call me or inform anything. And out of nowhere, he asked me this... Noooooooo!!! I wanna be the flower girl okayyyyyyy. I din prepare anything thus, no more being the flower girl. I should've ask him earlier... T.T
My aunt called over a make-up artist. Not having an extreme make-up for more than 20 years, my mom wanted it too. lol. She looked so much younger with make-up on.
My lovely nephews. cute~ I still have 4 more nephews. ^^
Those flowers for decorations there were a waste if u just leave them there. Before leaving, me, my mom, also my aunts took some flowers back home. hahaha. what? they're beautiful and imported. Dun waste them. :B
Overall, the food was nice, service not so good, the wedding was great, nice decorations and atmosphere. trying to shorten everything. i'm getting lazy to blog. -.-
I have 2 cousins getting marry this year. you know what that means, more wedding posts. haha.

Saturday Night -
All dressed up and ready for the big wedding.
the bride had so much wine, she puked :S
well, she was having a headache while drinking. It made her vomited. Ivan was helping me to take the family picture and he got the shot. :/
After the wedding, Joie came to visit me at the hotel. lol. She was there for holiday too. What a coincidence. Her family were staying at Limetree Hotel. She said everything there is green. Lime green. lol. Joanna and Jocelyn came along too. They wanted to see the room. So, we went to my room and chatted for a while.
Sunday Morning -
It's Tarsha's turn to visit me. My BFF. (:
Din meet her for so long dy. We went to the bazaar and shopped together. She bought a shirt for me. Thanks :D We talked about how our life was. SPM too. And also what are we gonna study. When I came back to the hotel, it's almost time to leave. My flight was at noon. We took some photos before leaving, of course.
My dad bought a blowpipe at the bazaar and the darts were confiscated at the airport. lol.
