Woohoo~ CALebration on Friday night, 18th. It's some sort of an orientation party. The main purpose is to announce the committee members of the A Level's student council of Taylor's College. And hence, celebration to CALebration!
It. Was. Awesome.
that's all i can say. The performances were so great. Just Amazing. The best one was the dancing by Taylor's Dance Club and their very own crew — SOML.
I wanted to record a video of them but i couldn't. Everyone was rushing in front to watch and blocked my view. I couldn't stand it and finally, I stood on my chair to see. Woo~ :3
BUT when i stood on my chair the dance was almost finish. aww..... D:
Besides dancing, there were also singing! Acoustic style. oh yeah. The Music Club sang firework. Everyone in the hall sang along during the chorus part.
That guy on the left sang just the way you are to his girlfriend. And he called her up to the stage! Screams bursting in the hall, it was crazy.
Food was provided that night. I din know there was food and I already ate my dinner before I went for the party. So, I only drank the orange juice there.
A real singer named Normie (I think, or maybe it's Normy) sang his originals on stage. acoustic style also. I cant find him on facebook or google. I'll ask someone for his real name. He's not bad. His style is like David Choi, Kina Grannis... Just the guitar and singing.
We all played a game too. The boys made an outer circle and the girls made an inner circle. and the girls had to face to the back to the boys. And whoever is in front of u will be your partner. Damn, i almost got the korean guy. LOL. So, the game went like this, someone gave instructions and we have to obey, for example, the guy's shoulder has to touch the girl's leg and the girl's elbow has to touch the guy's head. Okay, they won't let us touch some places lahh. It's understood, people.
When it was almost 10 p.m., the announcement of the new student council started. Decision is done by voting. The campaigners already campaigned for a week. Giving out speeches and posting posters. My classmates, Samuel and Dahrick were campaigning for President. Unfortunately, Dahrick din get it, but Samuel did. He only got the vice president post, actually. Congratulations to Samuel! His hard work paid off. For other committee members i dun wanna write it. I'm too lazy to. lol.
After that, the hall turned into a night club. wooo~~~
Blasting music in our ears. lol. Just get up and dance. Nobody cares if you dance ugly, anyway. wow, the Dance Club Members went wild. They dance like it's the end of the world. Breakdancing, bboy, so awesome. Seemah and I had so much fun. We danced till 11. Thanks to Seemah for dropping me home.
I hope I can go for CALebration next year too. I can now officially say: Taylor's ROCKS!
P.S. sorry i know my camera is not good. And my post is kinda crappy coz i just write it briefly and also because i'm lazy =P

First Day of College & New Year Resolution

Today is my first day of college!~ woohoo~
(To those who dunno where I'm studying in. It's Taylor's College.)
I admit, I was kinda nervous to enter cause everywhere I go I see unfamiliar faces. And I can only depend on myself. But after today, I change my mind. (:
Woke up at 7.15am, took my breakfast — milk n' cheerios, and then headed out to college. Saw the arrangement of classes and found that I'm in PM14. ok, eventhough it's the last pre-medical class, i know i am not in it because i'm dumb. Definitely not. Moving on, I went inside the Multi-purpose Hall (MPH) to attend the orientation programme. And before going in, a teacher handed me a leaflet which contains the activity time-table for this week. I waited for almost an hour for the event to start. My cousin picked me up at 8, and the programme starts at 9.
1st person to speak was the acting principal of Taylor's College. Gave us some explaination on this study programme and stuff. After that, more talks from the Student Experience and Student Council. I forgotten what does Student Experience mean, haha.. CAL student council is awesome. The members were so friendly and guiding us around. Fun to join with. I could join the student council if I want, but it seems like there are many things to be held resposible. One thing's for sure, I am joining the Anime Society. xD
Members of the student council guided PM14 students and also other classes to their rooms and also a campus tour before that. The treasurer and the secretary were with my class. I like them, they're so cool and fun to hang out with. We had to stop our campus tour cause we din have much time. It's time to meet up our mentor. My mentor is Ms. Gurpreet. Such a nice lady. Seniors say so too. I'm glad to have her as my mentor. I hope my other lecturers are also as nice as her. haha.
Later, we had an ice breaking in our classroom. Make new friends. We played some games to get to know each other. 1st game was Blow Wind, Blow. Next was the Name Game. How to play it? you remember names. Not easy cause u just got to know them. Last was Charades. And those who lost, had to be punished. The last punishment was doing the chicken dance in the classroom next to us. Public humiliation. LOL. We continued our campus tour after the games.
There are many Sarawakians in my class, a Japanese girl (cool, huh?), a chindian-thai (xD), no muslims. lol.
It was kinda fun today. Making new friends. I have a feeling i'm gonna love PM14. It's a good start for today. Oh yea, I'm also writing my new year resolutions because I feel like my new year has only just begun. (:
1. Sleep early
2. No slacking
3. No more emo days
They may seem simple, but they're not to me. Only 3, that's all i wanna achieve this year. Oh and also an amazing college life lahh. For number 3, i'm gonna need some motivation. I hate those days.. I dun wanna go back anymore. I'm gonna start my new life. For number 2, sigh, dun ever study last minute! And finally no. 1, I have to practise this. I ain't getting those herpes again! rawr
It's 11.30 already! Lights out, peeps. :D
P.S. My new laptop is finally here! wee~
